The twists and turns my life has taken are not what I once envisioned in my perfect dream future… yet somehow I can’t even begin to imagine life along a different path. Each year gives a new measure of perspective. Some lessons have been easily embraced, while others I’ve fought against with all my strength.

After far too many years of not considering myself ‘creative’, I started to embrace my unique gifts and allow those talents to grow.

Moving past what seems like the frenzied survival-mode of raising a large family, I give myself moments to indulge in beauty (through art, crafts, cooking, decorating, reading, writing, or journaling) refreshing my heart and renewing my purpose as a woman, wife, and mom.

Experiencing the joy and satisfaction of creating beauty, even amidst life’s challenges, gives me a passion to share that with you.
