Blessed Resurrection Sunday…
We had a wonderful Resurrection celebration yesterday. 
We arrived (just a few minutes late) to (the thankfully not quite) sunrise service at out church. After the great walk-through-the-scriptures style service we all got together for a community breakfast. What an awesome way to start the day!
After that was the regular service and during that was Nate’s dedication. Vince shared the testimony of Nate’s given name and why we cling to Psalm 127. This got me thinking it is probably high time I sit down and write out his birth story! (to come…)
We got home and started dinner. Our friends Kevin and Amber came over and their oldest daughter. We laughed as the kidlets tore through the yard in search for the little 
plastic eggs. They sat with our kids while Vince and I headed over to meet the puppy that might potentially become ours. (He’s a cutie, but more on that later)
What a great day of praise, worship and fellowship!!

Hello, it's called a TANTRUM…
Dear Lady-in-the-green-coat at Joann etc. today,
No, my 2 year old was not tired. She was not hurt. She was not hungry.
She was throwing a FIT!
She did not want to sit in the shopping cart, she wanted to walk around and touch the glass items on low shelves so easily within her reach.
I did not drive 45 minutes out of my way to turn around and give in to her will. I had a task to complete and we weren’t leaving until I got what was on my short list.
Sleep well tonight and do not torture yourself, my daughter is well-loved, well-fed, has a cozy bed to sleep in, and when she is older she’ll appreciate that her father and I cared enough to teach her discipline from an early age instead of falling to the whim of a toddler.
