’cause I’m gonna knock your socks off!”
That was the answer Andrew gave me when I asked how practice for his preschool graduation was going.
He was right…
Once I saw this
I was done.
Um, who switched my little Andrew with this big kid?!?!
Their graduation ceremony was cute beyond words. They showed slideshows of their daily routine (I’m trying to get the head teacher to send me a copy), they sang their favorite group songs. In this pic they’re singing “Baby Bumble Bee“.
He even performed solo! Hey recited “Hey Diddle, Diddle”. I couldn’t be more proud of how he did. He wasn’t the least bit stage-shy.
His teachers were juniors and seniors at North Carroll High School. His preschool was the lab part of their child development classes. The girls were all teary eyed as they said good-bye to the kids (we even got some baby-sitting offers). Andrew being the charmer he is had lots of friends from both his peers and the teens. He surprised us all when he broke out into some break-dancing moves during the reception. A couple of the girls had made a habit of getting Andrew to “pound it” whenever they saw him.
Looks like he is ready for Kindergarten this fall. (I am still not)
