Vince got back last night from a week in NY. Yippee!!!! Now I’m not saying I was going crazy or anything, but man was I happy to see my teammate again. Even if they still outnumber us, at least I’m not going against the littles alone.
Today was my “Day out” and boy did I need it. I headed out a little before noon (yeah, I was waiting for this day) and got to spend the whole afternoon without anyone attached to my leg or back and with no one whining about where we were going next. I was ALONE. It was wonderful. I browsed the craft stores, shopped in the mall (had a Bubble Tea which was very interesting, like a drink with an extra-curricular activity included), went to a salon for threading (I think I am addicted) and stopped at the local yarn store to just hang out. I got home and had dinner on the table by 6:30. I am SUPERMOM! What a difference a day of peace makes. Just when I thought I’d lost my sanity…
