Yes, I can count. Yes, I do have a calendar. Yes, we are still on this planet.
I know it’s been a while since I posted, and as usual it’s not because there hasn’t been anything going on, it’s because we have tons going on. We’ve all been sick for what seems like almost a month, augh. So where did I leave off? Okay, back to September. I headed up to NY with the kids the last week on September because I got tickets to Martha!! Fun. Me and my Mom headed out (a little late, surprise) the morning of the 28th and headed to the city for the show. We took the ferry over and the subway, I love public transportation in NY. No, seriously I do, they actually have a system. I can’t say that about Baltimore… We got to see Martha and her guest Oscar de la Hoya. What a workout, sit, stand, clap loud, clap soft, cheer… whew. They did give us a cookie though. Yeah, that’s what I said.
We headed back home on Saturday so the kids could be back in time for church and AWANA. They are all doing so well in their classes. Evan graduated to “Sparks” and he just finished his first section of the book and earned his Skipper patch, we’re so proud of all he’s learning. Andrew is a “Cubbie” and his teachers can’t stop telling me how well he’s doing. It makes us so happy to hear that he’s doing so well in an activity with out being in Evan’s shadow. His teachers say he is very good at participating and he has memorized almost 5 verses so far! He earned his Hopper patch last week! Francesca chills out in the nursery during AWANA, so that Vince and I can attend an adult bible-study, and she has a lot of fun with her teachers too. She’s starting to talk (we knew that wasn’t far off) and has quite a little diva attitude at times.
Vince and I are doing pretty good. We will be taking the house off the market within the next couple of weeks. His bosses have given him the go-ahead to wait until after the baby comes to market it again. I want to breath a sigh or relief, but it isn’t that easy. There are pros and cons to both ends for sure. As much as we’re happy to be staying with our friends and church for a while longer it doesn’t change the fact that we will need to sell the house and move, but now instead of trying to keep a house ready for showings with three kids… yeah, you know where that’s going. Vince is doing good at his job though, they are not rushing a move at all because he is handling all the jobs up there so well right from here.
I’m hanging in here too. Everything with the pregnancy seems to be going well. We got most of the results from the ultrasound, the only thing they were unable to see was the sacrum/tail-bone, so they’re recommending a follow-up. I’m not too worried as it’s probably nothing, I just want to be prepared if there’s a condition that will cause us to transfer to a hospital upon birth. In other news, I have decided to end my demonstrator-ship with Stampin’ Up! it was a tough decision, but after we dealt with the flood in the basement I lost my “classroom” and the ability to keep up with events. So for now I’ll say farewell to that chapter. I’m still into stamping and scrapbooking, I just won’t have a discount anymore *sigh*. I have been knitting up a storm still. I’m almost done with a pinwheel sweater for Francesca, just a sleeve and a half left and then I’ll take pictures. I am trying to figure out a way to market some of my skills before this holiday season. Not sure exactly what to do, but I want to do something. We’ll see…
That’s pretty much it for now I guess. I’ll try to update the photo blog tonight, but I’m not making any promises!
