Hello from Utah!

Well, I made it!  I left Maryland on the Tuesday afternoon, just minutes before my Mom-in-law arrived.  First was a flight to Dallas, it was seamless the only issue was that I was a seat away from first class and my hungry pregnant self was a bit envious as they served out the first class meal while we lowly pukes got a can of soda.  Where are my peanuts?!?!?!  So kidding!  It was a good flight.  I finished up my swaps and had the lady sitting next to me so excited about our products that I let her take my catalog with her!  Now, anyone that knows about the NEW catalog knows that once you have it the last thing you really want to do is just give it away…  But I did.  We’ll see if it turns out well.  The reason I didn’t hesitate is because I knew I was getting a spiral bound copy in my Convention bag and it’s just LOVELY!!!!

I held over in Dallas for most of the late afternoon.  Had yummy BBQ (thanks for the suggestion Jenn!!) and finished off painting the sides of my swap pins.  I was feeling pretty productive.  I headed out to SLC at 8:45 (central time) and got in around 10-something (mountain time).  I was beat, so I found the closest-cheap-but-not-skanky hotel and settled in for some sleep (right after gluing the backs on my pins).  Woke up at 5:30, darn time zone changes, and headed back to the airport to catch the FREE shuttle to my “real” hotel.  Got there dropped my stuff and headed across the street to the Convention center.

WOW.

Yeah, I was pretty much without words.

Okay, so there’s much more to this story but I’ve got to run and check in for the shift I am working (I am here as a Make and Take helper as well).  I’ll be back later to write up the rest.

Oh and Laurie and Britt…please don’t email me any pictures this week, they’re filling my mailbox since I can’t dump them off the server and causing everything to bounce, I will call you when I get home ’cause I can’t wait to see them.
