Back at home…

After two long, but uneventful flights I returned home on Sunday afternoon.  I never expected to come back more tired than I left.  I am still kind of dragging along.  It was good to be home with my family again and great to sleep in my own bed.  It was nice though, to be responsible for only me for just a few days.  It was such a good trip.  So many pictures to share.  Eventually I’ll get around to it all.

Back to the grind.  We had an offer on the house, for $46,000 (yes that’s right) LESS than asking!  Needless to say we were much less than thrilled.  We countered and are waiting to hear how that was received.  I’ll let you know if anything comes of it.

Had an U/S appointment yesterday.  Everything looks good.  It’s a squirmy little one, just like his/her siblings, as soon as the tech put the pic on the screen I could see him/her moving all around, very reassuring.  The heart rate looked good and  the size made them estimate me at just over 11 weeks along.  Whew!  Looks like I’ll be due around February 4th.  I have a few pictures, it’s weird to not have the “peanut shot” and go straight to seeing actual parts.  I still can’t believe we’re that far into this pregnancy!  What can I say, I’ve been preoccupied.  I am just glad I was getting fat for a reason.  I know, I am bad.  Met with my midwife last week, she promised to be on time this time around.  Here’s hoping we find a good midwife (that takes our insurance) that does home-births if we move before I have this little one.  More to worry about, I hope not.
